The Mexican-born artist well-known for drawing connections between literature and the arts is the visionary behind Oceana’s dramatic architectural-looking library, which consists of specially designed book shelves that house an intimate book collection personally-curated by Blake for the residents of Oceana Bal Harbour.
The Spanish New York-based painter famous for his discontinuous brush strokes is represented by some of the most prominent art galleries around the globe. Usle’s two pieces, Soñe que Revelabas (Okawango) 2016 and Soñe que Revelabas (Ganges) 2016, will grace the North and South tower lobbies of Oceana Bal Harbour.
As one of Britain’s best known abstract painters, Callum is well-known for what critics dub “unpainting”, the process of dissolving his paintings with turpentine.
The two abstract pieces, which are part of his “Exposed Paintings” series, will grace the grand lobbies walls at Oceana Bal Harbour.
Garth Weiser is a New York-based artist whose work is influenced by pop culture and corporate design from the 80s and 90s. His style of mixing stark geometric patterns with textured paint surfaces is seen through his two commissioned pieces for Oceana, which will also grace the grand walls of Oceana’s two lobbies.
An Te Liu
The Taiwanese, Toronto-based installation artist and sculptor An Te Liu is influenced by his background in art history and architecture. Liu repurposes common household items and shapes them into artistic designs, revealing the items’ cultural significance.

The New York-based photographer is most popularly known for her collection of works titled Paperwork and the Will of Capital (featured last week in the New York Times), in which she photographs and recreates floral centerpieces that were present during 36 historical treaties, signings, declarations and other formalized moments of accord around the world. Each of the two pieces, which take court behind Oceana’s concierges, shed light on the artifice underlying politics.
